Breakfast nice and more verity, with welcoming staff, Chef & FNB manger very friendly with smile ,Dinner Menu also with nice taste , i will come back again to Jakarta stay at Novotel

Location was good, service excellent. Near a train station and places to eat. It was about half an hour on the train to National Monument and museums near there. Room was good and facility was clean.

We stayed at Novotel Jakarta Cikini from November 20–23, 2025. Although we had booked a non-smoking room, upon arrival we were upgraded to a “Legendary” room. While the gesture was appreciated, the room was too large for two people and decorated with football-themed images, which may not suit everyone.Unfortunately, the entire 12th floor (including our room, 1202) smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Despite requesting a change, the hotel informed us there were no rooms available, so we had to spend one night in the smoky room before being moved the next day. This was disappointing, especially since smoking in carpeted areas leaves a lasting odor.The hotel’s location near the train station made it noisy, and the breakfast selection was not very suitable for international guests. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and polite, and the location was convenient for getting around Jakarta.Overall, it was a memorable stay, but we do not intend to return.

Food was good.

The staff were not trained properly. We had a situation where we were having breakfast and our table was with full cup of coffee and juice and we went for more items, when we came back the table was clean and one another guest was sitting on the table. the staff had no idea what he did. the restaurant at times was very crowded as its setup may be not done properly.

Zahra was exceptionally helpful and went out of her way to provide me with valuable information for my side trip to Pontianac and Sinkawang. I am grateful for her and other staff's help throughout my stay.

The location of this hotel was perfect! I was traveling for work and it was very central, a perfect jumping off point for meetings. The staff were wonderful, and incredibly thoughtful! The breakfast buffet was excellent and quite varied each day, which was appreciated for a weeklong stay!

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, tidy and with good enough space, the stuffs were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was with a good variety of choices.

First of all, property appears to be modern but room has seen very heavy traffic. Had to change room in between- initial room had a dirty bedsheet on the first day (with visible shoe print), and it was very noisy with very loud room door bells in adjacent rooms that rings constantly throughout the night. Strange smell from shower and smells occasionally like cigarette smoke in the bathroom The new room on third floor was much better and quieter, door bells were still too loud but it seemed less busy on that floor. Room cleaning was also much much better on the third floor. However, the usb charger in this room is not working and the clocks in both rooms never worked properly.

amenities such cottonbud, toothpaste etc are not available, you have to find staffs first to ask for that. not convenient coz you have to wait at room.However you can buy at the stores nearby the hotel.

I recently stayed at the Novotel Jakarta Cikini, and honestly, I'm super happy with the accommodation and comfort! As soon as I walked into the room, it felt cool and tidy. The design, oh my, it just made me want to chill out and stay in bed forever.The room itself was spacious and the layout was just right, making it easy to relax after a long day.Besides the room, the hotel facilities also added to the comfort. The common areas were neat and cozy for hanging out or just sitting back. You could really tell they thought about every detail to make guests feel at home.Basically, I totally recommend Novotel Jakarta Cikini for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Jakarta. You'll feel right at home!

While I loved my comfy stay at Novotel Jakarta Cikini, there was one thing that bugged me: the staff were slow to respond to my needs during my time at the hotel. It would've been perfect otherwise!

Location and breakfast buffet!

It is not really clean even when we asked the housekeeping to clean it. Some amenities are broken too like the refrigerator and vault. We have asked them to replace it so we can use.
